Microblading

Microblading is a manual skill of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing.
Shape of the eyebrows is calculated according to the golden intersection and face morphology.

The pigment is applied into the surface layer of the dermis using sterilized tools.

The pigment is chosen so to match the natural hair or eyebrows’ colour. After the healing, the colour may become several hues lighter that the natural hairs’ colour.

Symmetry is achieved through PhiBrows application and it is calculated while the clients’ eyes are closed because in that way mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed.

Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hairs’ growth to achieve hyper-realistic look.

Colour is extremely dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses 40 to 50% of its intensity. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself by no means. Patiently wait 7 days for the colour to fade on its own after the healing of the skin.

Color duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce colour fastness.

On average, expected time until a new colour refreshment is between 12 and 18 months. With oily skin it is up to 6 - 12 months.

The healing is fully completed after 28 days and this is when we perform an obligatory addition of the pigment that has been lost. With problematic and oily skins, we can have several additions (corrections).

Post-treatment flow makes 70% of the treatment’s success. Conscientiously obey advice, because if you don’t do so you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying creams is of great importance.

Pain during the treatment is relative. Scared clients and clients who have their period usually feel stronger pain, while the other clients compare the pain to the one they feel when plucking eyebrows. It is possible to use mild anesthetics in form of cream or liquid that can entirely eliminate the pain during the treatment.

The success of the treatment depends on...

  • skin quality

  • post-treatment flow and care

  • exposure to different external factors

*All of these factors are out of the artist’s control, so any possibility to provide guarantees for the treatment is excluded.

Always have a consultation with the artist before the treatment if you...

  • have skin challenges

  • have serious health challenges

  • take medications

  • have pre-existing permanent eyebrow makeup

*Get familiar with the post-treatment flow thoroughly before this treatment.

*The skin must not be in the inflammatory process or the process of healing and regeneration before each treatment.

The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before this treatment...

  • botox and/or fillers

  • fruit and/or milk acids

  • laser treatments

  • chemical peels

  • exposure to strong sunlight

Prior to scheduling the treatment, make sure you are familiar with...

  • the information about the treatment

  • the artist’s guarantee

  • the consent post treatment care

Aftercare...

30 minutes after the treatment, rinse the eyebrows with a neutral (children’s) soap to remove all cream.

Apply a very thin layer of Skin Candy.
Repeat this procedure 3-5 times daily.

If the treatment was done late in the afternoon and you will not have time to do it 3 to 5 times that evening so put a plastic wrap over the eyebrows you previously applied the cream to on to protect the eyebrows from drying or smudging overnight.

Over the next 7 days, maintain facial hygiene and apply the cream after
cleansing your face or taking a shower.

Skin Candy can be used on all skin types due to its natural, active components that regulate sebum production.

What is to be avoided?

7 days post-treatment...

  • avoid creams (except for Skin Candy) and makeup in the eyebrow area

  • avoid activities that involve heavy perspiration, moisture, facial massage, and steaming

30 days post-treatment...

  • avoid sunbathing, time in solariums, light therapies, chemical peels, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, and creams that contain regeneration factors

  • avoid laser treatments over the treated area (fraxel laser, IPL, etc.) *can destroy the pigment and cause burns

  • antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster pigment fading. To prevent and only after the first 7 days post-treatment, protect the eyebrows from the sun exposure with SPF
